First Atlanta Startup Drinks
{ April 18th, 2008 }
People keep talking about this so I figured I better post something especially since I’m contemplating the next event. In case you don’t know me, I’m Sanjay Parekh. I’m the guy behind the occasionally inflammatory bilgistic.com (where I’ve been publicizing Open Coffee events which I’m renaming to Startup Drinks) as well as the organizer for the upcoming Startup Riot event and monthly Startup Dinner. I also very infrequently post to my own blog at sanjayparekh.com.
With that out of the way, how about we meet up for drinks and hanging out at the Starbucks at Georgia Tech on April 23rd at 1:30pm until 4:30pm. At least, that’s when I’ll have to bug out. Folks are more than welcome to hang out for longer.

A simple concept: startup culture in cities around the world gathers around a bar to have a pint and discuss what they are working on, what they need help with and what they can do for each other.

When did Starbuck’s start selling pints?

“Drinks” does not imply alcoholic beverages only. Since it was the afternoon, I figured Starbucks would be the right style. We can plan one for after the ATDC thing (and I think I may plan one for post-Startup Riot) at a non-coffee place.
