Ah, the holidays approacheth. And just in time, it’s Startup Drinks again! Spend a great evening with other technology and startup folks. Make friends, drink a beer, and charge your batteries (to 11!) in preparation for the holiday onslaught. As usual, all the cool folks will be there. And me.

I have reserved the rooftop room for this event. It’s a great room with floor-to-ceiling windows and terrific views of the skyline. If the weather’s nice, we can go out on the outdoor deck. If it’s not, we’ll close the doors and stay cozy inside.

Insider tip: If you pull around behind the restaurant (via the parking lot on the left) and go up the ramp in the back, there’s a ton of free rooftop parking and an entrance that will take you directly to the event room.

The November event, held at Ignition Alley last night, was a huge success. We had over 50 people for a night of drinks and conversation. About 20 new people came for the first time, so lots of new connections were made. A great time was had by all, from the early arrivals at 5pm to the hardy bunch who made it to Cameli’s for some awesome pizza afterward.

In addition, the attendees brought and donated several boxes of books for Tech High, as part of Atlanta Helps’ November book drive. It’s here! Startup Drinks is tomorrow night at Ignition Alley. As a special event, we’re asking for book donations to support Atlanta Helps and Tech High School. Bring a book to donate and receive a free beer, courtesy of Regator. (I know, the beer’s free anyway, but c’mon.)
